Spring Valley, Illinois is a community of 5000 people.

During the years of World War II, more than 700 young men and women of our community served our country in the military service.

The following interviews are with a number of Spring Valley military veterans, as they describe a variety of their personal experiences during World War II.

We are honored to preserve the legacy of this greatest generation!
